# Bitcoin mining using landfill gas - model code

I have converted the Analytica code in our landfill mining paper to Python, so it is now open source at: [https://github.com/murrayrudd/landfill-gas-bitcoin-model](https://github.com/murrayrudd/landfill-gas-bitcoin-model?ref=murrayrudd.pro)

We used this model for an article published in: Rudd, M.A., Jones, M., Sechrest, D., Batten, D., Porter, D., 2024\. The Python code replicates results and reproduces Figures from the article.

 The model is being expanded too - more on that effort will be posted as it becomes available.
